Selside School Association (SSA) is a registered charity comprising parents and friends of the school who offer support by organising fundraising events to fund essential items to enhance the children’s learning.

The SSA have proudly funded the following along with other school essentials in 2023/24:

• Early Years resources for our Adventurers Class
• Contributed to the construction of our Wild Shed
• Subsidised transport to Manchester to visit our Manchester pen pals in a city school and museum

Looking forward into 2024, plans include rewilding the area, rebuild of the bird hide and new outdoor learning facilities.

Funds have previously been raised as a result of some fantastic SSA events including:

• An organised Family Camp out enjoyed by friends of the school every summer
• The SSA Summer Ball which was a huge hit in June 2022
• A lovely Christmas Fair attended by the Selside community annually
• ‘Potter The Fell’ which was completed by Friends of the School and the local community
