School Rules

Our school rules were developed in collaboration with the pupils. They are based upon the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child UNCRC0  (a legally-binding international agreement setting out the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of every child, regardless of their race, religion or abilities) and they focus upon the rights and responsibilities of every child.

For every September, each class designs a class charter.

A class charter is a set of rules, promises or guidelines that children and teachers have all agreed on for the classroom. They’re created to help children understand that they have certain rights in the classroom. These rights are important, as they help to keep them safe and happy while they receive their education here at Selside School.
