At Selside School our Nursery provision is part of a mixed age Early Years Class. Selside Nursery creates learning and development opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom, for your child from the age of 3.

We use our extensive grounds and woodland as an extension of our classroom, encouraging adventure and opportunities for independent learning both indoors and outdoors. Mrs Corbett our Early Years class teacher is extremely experienced, assisted by Mrs Thomas our Early Years Teaching Assistant, provide care and learning for your child throughout their early years.

Parents have available to them a variety of sessions with wrap around care up to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Examples of the sessions are below, however we try to be as flexible as possible to fit in with your child’s and your needs.

Selside Nursery offers parents the opportunity to utilise both 15 and 30 hours funded child care. We also accommodate additional hours at the cost of £4.00 per hour. Your child can start from the age of 3, but will only receive funding from the term after their third birthday.
