Intent

At Selside School, we believe that Design and Technology provides life skills that children need to complete everyday tasks. Through the Design and Technology curriculum, we will help children develop their creative, technical and practical expertise and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world. Children will be given the opportunity to develop their skills and build on ones previously learnt. Children will be given the chance to explore new materials and be innovative with their thinking. Selside School creates an atmosphere where children feel comfortable and able to edit designs with support and structure.
